2 new iPhone Apps to try

The other day I was browsing the app store looking for a good Polaroid app (suggestions/recommendations welcome) when I came across two that looked pretty fun. I've been playing around with them for a bit and I'd like to share them with you today.

Are you like me and working on a 365 photography project this year? Or do you just happen to (again like me) take at least one picture everyday with your iPhone? Then I've found an app for you. It's called My365 .

The app is kinda divided into two parts: Part I is the calendar. Take a picture either with your iPhone  camera or with the camera provided in the app. Then you can edit using any other photo apps you have or just use one of the My365 filters. Then you just upload it to your calendar. And you've documented a little bit of your day. Easy peasy.

Note to developers:
I think it would be cool if there were an option to purchase a printed calendar at the end of the year
with all of your pictures.

The second part of this app is the community. The more you interact, the more friends you make AND the more filters you get. (One thing, though...I've  yet to figure out how to access those extra filters. Hmmmm...)

The second app I have to tell you about is Red Stamp. This app is gonna help me big time with one of my New Year's resolutions, which is to show more gratitude and appreciation.

With this app I can send Thank You notes, birthday cards, and invitations. I can just say "I love you" or "Hello" or "I'm thinking of you." And I can make that big announcement in June all using my own pictures and words, if I want. Then I can send it all out virtually to Twitter or Facebook or email. The app even downloads events like birthdays from your Facebook account! How cool is that?

Just to try it out, I snapped this pic of The Babe "reading" in the bath,
made a card and sent it to The Boy.
It only took about two minutes!

And the best part: Both apps are absolutely FREE!
