Noodles

Maybe it started in Italy. Maybe I've seen KUNG FU PANDA one too many times. Or maybe it's this little one growing in my tummy that's giving me such massive carb cravings. I don't know. Whatever it is, I am having a serious love affair with noodles. I'm smitten with the garlicky, salty, tangy yumminess of Pasta Puttenesca. (Olives and capers in a spaghetti sauce? Where have you been all my life?) I love the gooey, cheesy goodness of a baked pasta dish.  But, truth be told, it's Asian noodles of all sorts that have really stolen my heart.

  1. The hubby makes Peasant Pasta. It yields a ton, inexpensive to make & super yummy. I believe he got the recipe from Rachel Ray a few yrs ago. I will see if I can find the recipe for you.

  2. I looked this up and it does look yummy! The spicy Italian sausage might be a little hard to find here, though, so I might have to get creative. Half the fun of cooking in a foreign country!
